WHY CAFÉS CHOOSE ISHAREDISK

Faster setup. Cleaner PCs. Full GPU power.

Full GPU power

Games run on the PC itself. No streaming, no shared GPU.

Secure Boot on

Boot diskless with UEFI Secure Boot enabled on compatible systems.

Update once

Patch a game on one PC. Every PC gets it on next boot.

Clean every session

Reboot and the PC is back to your standard image.

HOW IT WORKS

One image. Every gaming PC.

01

Prepare one image

Install Windows, drivers and game launchers once, on the server.

02

Boot over the network

Gaming PCs start with PXE. No local system disk needed.

03

Play on local hardware

Windows and games run on each PC’s own CPU, GPU and drivers.

04

Reboot clean

Each session starts from the standard image.

GAMING PERFORMANCE

Your hardware runs the game.

PXE only delivers the boot path. Nothing is streamed as video. Players get the full CPU and GPU of the PC in front of them. Load speed depends on your server, network and cache setup.

UEFI SECURE BOOT

Keep Secure Boot enabled.

Some games and anti-cheat systems expect Secure Boot. iShareDisk boots compatible systems over PXE with UEFI Secure Boot left on, so you don’t have to switch it off to go diskless.

Secure Boot setup guide

Before you roll out a title, check:

  • Windows version and firmware settings
  • TPM status on the gaming PC
  • Game, launcher and anti-cheat versions
  • Boot one test PC before the whole room

Secure Boot support alone does not mean every game is verified.

BUILT FOR CAFÉ OPERATIONS

Less time fixing PCs. More time open.

BOOTANYWHERE

One image, mixed hardware

NIC plug-and-play lets one image start PCs with different motherboards and network cards.

SUPER USER

Update games once

Patch games on one PC in super-user mode, straight to the game disk.

RESTORE POINTS

Safe updates

Save changes as a restore point, test, then merge. Roll back if a driver goes wrong.

CACHE

Server and client cache

RAM cache with an SSD second tier on the server, plus a client-side cache.

HOT STANDBY

Stay open

Run two servers. If one stops, the other takes over and PCs keep running.

TFTP-ONLY

Keep your router

Works alongside the DHCP server you already have.

Set up your first gaming PC.
